We’re committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.\nSummary This individual will work directly with internal and external design teams, contractors, platform delivery, and operations departments to ensure the technical integrity, performance, and consistency of structural systems across Aligned’s data center platform.\nThis role serves as both a structural engineering authority and a platform leader, responsible for ensuring structural solutions are not only technically sound, but also repeatable, constructible, and scalable across projects.\nA successful Structural Engineer with Aligned will combine deep technical expertise with a systems-level mindset, driving design standardization, prefabrication strategies, and continuous improvement of the structural platform while supporting project execution and delivery.\nDuties And Responsibilities Design\nLead and maintain responsibility for structural engineering standards, details, and updates across the platform\nReview and drive updates to the Design Execution Criteria (DEC) for structural systems including compliance with code & customer requirements, innovation, and inclusion of lessons learned\nEnsure quality control of structural design deliverables through the full design phase\nLead development of standardized and repeatable structural systems aligned with platform objectives\nIntegrate structural systems into prefabricated and modular delivery strategies\nSupport conceptual design, site evaluations, and real estate acquisition decisions\nProvide technical support for expansions, retrofits, and upgrades\nExecution\nOversee Structural design coordination across disciplines to ensure seamless integration with architectural, structural, and MEP systems\nServe as the technical authority for structural design decisions\nValidate structural readiness for construction, equipment loading, and service\nLead structural troubleshooting and performance investigations\nRevenue\nEvaluate and approve deviations from standard designs based on client requirements.\nLead technical assessments of potential acquisitions and existing assets.\nForward Vision\nDrive transition toward a platform-based, manufactured structural delivery model\nLead implementation of prefabricated and modular structural systems\nAlign structural systems with supply chain and fabrication strategies\nStay current with industry trends, technologies, and sustainable practices in Civil engineering.\nLead or support the evaluation and implementation of innovative design and construction methodologies.\nCollaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to align Civil engineering solutions with evolving technical needs\nTroubleshoot and resolve site performance issues related to structural discipline\nStrongly Desired Working experience & knowledge of:\nProject Management Software (MS Projects, Procore, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar).\nStructural design software including Revit, Bluebeam, Autocad.\nKnowledge and experience working with Bluebeam, Autocad, & Revit a plus\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering\nPE license required;
