Engineers will participate throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, DevOps, testing, and automation.This position is suited to a developer who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, working with modern technologies, and contributing in a collaborative, flat organizational environment.### Key Responsibilities* Design and implement features and enhancements for Cirrus Migrate Cloud and its cloud SaaS offering.* Develop and maintain end-to-end tests to support product quality and reliability.* Analyze and solve complex software engineering problems.* Work collaboratively with an open-minded, cross-functional engineering team.* Develop innovative solutions to challenging technical issues.* Work across cloud services and system software at scale.* Contribute to multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.* Participate in planning, architecture, design, implementation, DevOps, testing, and automation.* Evaluate and select modern technologies and development tools.* Develop software primarily using Go, Python, and other relevant programming languages.* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of enterprise data management and protection solutions.### Required Qualifications* 2+ years of software development experience.* Experience developing well-engineered and testable software using a modern programming language, primarily Go.* Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.* Understanding of clean architecture and software design patterns.* Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies in dynamic development environments.* Open-minded approach to developing high-quality, modern software products.* Experience working with Linux operating systems.* Interest in enterprise-level system applications.* Experience with database programming.### Preferred Qualifications* Production experience developing software in Go.* Experience developing distributed applications.* Familiarity with technologies such as gRPC, S3, and Redis.* Knowledge of SAN and cloud storage architectures.* Frontend development knowledge or experience.* Experience with enterprise storage systems or cloud-based data management technologies.### CompensationFor applicants located in New York, the annual base salary range is $80,000–$135,000, depending on relevant experience and skills.For applicants located in Colorado, the annual base salary range is $70,000–$135,000, depending on relevant experience and skills.The company also offers a competitive benefits package.### Work ArrangementThis is a remote position available across North America.
