We partner with these agencies to build new capabilities, deliver products, establish data as a strategic asset for informed decision-making, modernize legacy systems, and build the digital service infrastructure necessary to scale their mission impact.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nSoftware Engineer II - Front End/ Back End serves as an individual contributor within a team; with the support and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for supporting the goal of meeting scope, schedule and delivery requirements. You will begin to develop an awareness and understanding of the engineering function within the program, as well as interact with stakeholders. Primary expectations for a Software Engineer II - Front End/ Back End include:\nEstimates and completes development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with a moderate level of feedback and guidance from their team\nDebugs, optimizes, maintains, and monitors their work in both test and production environments\nDevelops tests, monitoring/instrumentation, analytics, and deployment pipeline changes as appropriate for the given task\nParticipates in on-call rotations with their team as necessary\nBuilds technical and communication skills, gaining context around surrounding areas\nParticipates in planning sessions, building an understanding of major architectures and design patterns\nActively participates in design and asks questions to work toward understanding of technical trade-offs, interactions, and dependencies in the system\nDevelopment of influential skills to help make tactical decisions and support onboarding for new developers\nExhibits understanding for other roles and practices, including how they are intended to work together\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience\nGolang\nAngular\nCloud Experience (ideally AWS)\nSQL experience\nKnowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to write clear, concise code using commenting when appropriate\nGood understanding of CI/CD pipelines backed by Jenkins.\nNice-to-have Qualifications & Experience\nHealth Care Industry and/or CMS experience\nExperience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences\nPrior experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role\nWorks well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment\nPrior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience\nExperience building digital healthcare technology products and services\nExperience working in the public sector or a highly regulated industry\nFamiliarity with (508) accessibility requirements\nSecurity Clearance Requirements\nUS Citizenship\nUS Residency for at least the past 3 years\nAble to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation\nDisclaimer: Medical or recreational marijuana use is considered illegal at the federal level, regardless of state laws allowing such, and may affect your ability to obtain Public Trust.
