Our mission is to empower creators to continue doing what they love by building intuitive, accessible monetization tools, programs, and resources that reward authentic community engagement. You will work on engineering systems that directly impact creators' livelihoods, building and scaling the platforms that enable the Twitch Partner Program, DJ Program, Plus Program, and Extensions Monetization. You Will Build systems that matter: Contribute to experiences and services that power creator earnings, payouts, and monetization programs that directly impact millions of creators' livelihoods. Deliver code with impact: Write and maintain code in Go, TypeScript, or other languages in our stack, with mentorship from senior engineers and tech leads who will help you grow. Solve problems that span multiple teams: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across the organization to understand complex requirements and deliver elegant solutions. Shape how we build: Improve engineering processes, participate in design discussions, and contribute to code reviews that raise the bar for the entire team. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of designing and developing large‐scale, multi‐tiered, multi‐threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl. Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or prior relevant engineering experience. 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of independently delivering features end‐to‐end. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, data modeling, and schema design. Experience building and maintaining highly available, observable systems in production. Proven ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions, ideally in monetization or high‐traffic consumer products. Proficient experience level in one or more of the following languages: Go, TypeScript, Ruby, Java, C++. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. You're a creator or Twitch streamer or have previous experience in the gaming industry or creator space.
