This includes settings and adjustments required to produce parts to specifications.\n\nSelects, mounts and aligns tooling attachments and materials in proper order and relationship.\n\nStarts and stops, feeds the machines, and monitors for imperfect operation.\n\nUtilizes a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before start, during, and at completion of production run.\n\nReworks and directs reworking of tools as needed.\n\nPerforms, when required, Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and acts in accordance with data output.\n\nMeets and maintains productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals and schedules.\n\nPerforms record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.\nThe pay scale for this position ranges from $20.67-$38.46 an hour\n\nQualifications\n\nLanguage Skills:\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\n\nMathematical Skills:\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nBlueprint Reading:\n\nAbility to read and understand blueprints.\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of 4 years experience in threadrolling aircraft quality fasteners on various types of threadroll machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\n\nWork Environment:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
