The role develops and executes automated testing strategies and integrates testing, security scanning, and quality controls throughout the DevSecOps and CI/CD lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and automated test suites covering functional, integration, regression, negative, usability, and end-to-end testing.\nDevelop automated unit, integration, and regression testing to support comprehensive coverage of critical business functionality.\nIntegrate automated testing into Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates to prevent failed builds from progressing to production.\nMaintain test automation documentation and support continuous improvement of DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and release processes.\nIdentify, analyze, document, and track software defects through resolution using Digital.ai or similar defect-tracking tools.\nCollaborate with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, establish acceptance criteria, troubleshoot issues, and improve software quality.\nIncorporate security scanning (SAST/DAST) and Section 508 accessibility testing into automated testing processes.\nSupport performance, load, and stress testing to validate system reliability and performance for expected user volumes.\nDevelop and maintain test documentation, automated testing procedures, pipeline test inventories, and deployment/testing plans.\nParticipate in product design reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.\nMonitor testing and quality metrics, defect resolution, test coverage, and release readiness, and provide results through project and sprint reporting.\nEnsure testing procedures are repeatable, traceable, and compliant with applicable project and quality standards.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nMinimum 3 years of software testing/test engineering experience, including experience with test automation.\nExperience designing and executing comprehensive software test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.\nProficiency with one or more test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, NUnit, or xUnit.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.\nWorking knowledge of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.\nExperience with defect tracking, regression testing, automated testing, and software quality assurance practices.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify edge cases and develop comprehensive test coverage.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Background Investigation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.\nExperience with AWS and cloud-based application testing.\nExperience testing applications in OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other containerized environments.\nExperience with security testing tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, or OWASP ZAP.\nExperience with Section 508 accessibility testing and compliance tools.\nFamiliarity with NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, and DevSecOps practices.\nExperience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.\nExperience testing complex web-based, case management, federal government, or law-enforcement systems.\nAWS Certified Machine Learning, ISTQB, or equivalent testing certification preferred.\n\nApplication Process: Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience and qualifications.
