This temporary, full-time position is based on the Columbus campus and supports initiatives related to global veterinary education, capacity building, and international engagement. The role combines administrative coordination, communications, project support, and collaboration with university and international partners.\r\nKey responsibilitiesAssist with management and daily operations of select global programs, including the Global Engagement Program\r\nSupport activities connected to an extramurally funded award related to global veterinary education and capacity building\r\nProvide administrative assistance for program operations\r\nCoordinate travel arrangements and event planning\r\nComplete expense reporting tasks\r\nReceive, track, and submit invoices\r\nEnsure compliance with university and sponsor standards\r\nPrepare written materials including technical reports, bulletins, press releases, and annual reports\r\nDevelop audiovisual materials such as PowerPoint presentations and online content\r\nManage inventory for project supplies\r\nSchedule meetings and coordinate communications with university and external partners\r\nWork closely with faculty investigators, staff, and students to facilitate program activities\r\nCoordinate with government entities and international partners to support activities abroad\r\nRequirementsHigh School diploma or GED\r\nFour years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience\r\nComputer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel\r\nStrong written and oral communication skills\r\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\r\nStrong project management and time management skills\r\nAbility to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time\r\nBachelor’s degree in communications, business, education, health sciences, international affairs, or a related discipline preferred\r\nPrevious experience in a higher education or university setting preferred\r\nExperience using Workday preferred\r\nExperience writing in a science-based field preferred\r\nExperience with international programs administration preferred\r\nCultural competency preferred\r\nInterest or experience in website editing and/or graphic design preferred\r\nWHY THIS ROLE MATTERS Global programs in higher education rely on strong operational coordination to maintain partnerships, manage funding requirements, and support educational initiatives across borders.
