We nurture a progressive environment where challenging, empowered, and purposeful work is celebrated.\nThe Program Supervisor supervises and oversees high-quality recreation programming and facility operations for the Recreation Division. The Programs Supervisor leads the planning, development, promotion, implementation, and day-to-day operation of a diverse portfolio of recreation programs and community experiences. This position works closely with residents, participants, volunteers, contract instructors, City employees, and community partners to deliver high-quality programming that responds to the interests and needs of the Southlake community.\nFrom signature experiences such as Summer Camp Mania, Breakfast with Santa, and the Sweetheart Dance to year-round recreation programming for a variety of ages and interests, the Programs Supervisor oversees programs from concept through execution. Responsibilities include evaluating community needs and program opportunities, establishing long-range program goals, coordinating facilities and resources, monitoring registration and participation, managing program expenditures, and evaluating program performance and financial sustainability.\nA key component of this role is building and leading the team that brings these programs to life. Supervisory experience required.\nCertified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) preferred.\nPossession of, or ability to obtain, American Red Cross CPR, First Aid and AED Certification.\nAbility to remain flexible with your schedule.
