Provides engineering and programming support to projects and infrastructure support activities. Designs and develops enterprise applications in a web environment; develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions, including customizing software to optimize operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesMay analyze and design databases within an application area, individually or in coordination with database development teamsMay manage websites, including design, development, deployment, maintenance, testing, and quality assurance of websites and web applicationsApply knowledge and provide guidance across all phases of the software development lifecycleAnalyze user and business needs and functionality to plan and design software systemsCreate advanced models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an applicationProvide analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusMay act as a consultant across multiple programs and/or contracts within a divisionRequirementsExperience with Angular and JavaWillingness to develop and implement solutions in a dispersed team environmentExperience working on a Scrum team supporting the Lean Agile FrameworkAbility to conduct routine quality assurance activities, including peer reviewsExperience with Git and JenkinsDemonstrated experience with web service design and developmentExperience with continuous integration, test automation, and DevOpsFamiliarity with Linux environmentsAbility to translate formal and informal system requirements into complex application interfaceKnowledge of Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), or direct database interfacesUS citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required The Swift Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
