The successful candidate will have experience with space operations, COA and TTP execution, and the Space Warfighting mission. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities.\n\nPosition Location\nSpringfield, VA\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDevelop a concept of operations and notional system architecture necessary to conduct future live, virtual and constructive training, exercise, and experiments for command and control of Customer assigned tactical units.\nSupport the Training and Exercises Division in developing all aspects of exercises and experiments (e.g., Concept Development and Planning Conferences).\nSupport the Training and Exercises Division in all phases of exercise and experiment execution. This includes Pre-Start of Exercise (pre-STARTEX) training, road-to-war preparation and briefings, execution, White Cell support and the Lessons Learned process.\nParticipating in exercises and other government driven events to derive performance benchmarks and technical utility.\nGenerate, share, present briefings and products for senior leadership and enterprise awareness.\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nWork will be primarily conducted at in Springfield, VA at the customer site, with potential for travel within the United States and potentially overseas to support program execution.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nFamiliarity with Joint Operations and Joint Planning Process.\nExperience with exercise planning and the joint event lifecycle (JELC) of exercise planning.\nExcellent speaking skills—comfortable talking to senior military leadership.\nExperienced in developing tactical, operational and higher headquarters level exercises, wargames and experiments.\nAble to derive senior leadership guidance and recommendations for dynamic training environments and help shape future training needs.\nPossess working knowledge of tools used for exercise planning such as Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL), Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS), Defense Collaboration Services (DCS), Primary Decision Aid System (PDAS), Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD).\nExperience working across multiple organizations, directorates and functions such as space operations, plans, intelligence, cyber operations, logistics and senior leadership to develop comprehensive scenarios and learning objectives.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliar with:\nSpace operations/Satellite Operations.\nDoD/NRO spacecraft.\n\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
