This role leads EHS programs, facilities maintenance, facility projects, preventative maintenance, and emergency response support while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and well-supported work environment for teammates.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and manage facility EHS programs and systems to support worker safety and compliance with applicable USDOL, OSHA, US EPA, and state regulatory requirements.\nProvide professional EHS expertise and leadership to build and sustain a strong safety culture.\nDevelop, update, and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety management systems, policies, training programs, and documentation.\nCoach, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and employees to achieve EHS objectives and strengthen EHS knowledge across the organization.\nConduct plant EHS audits, assess facility risks, complete point-of-work risk assessments, and implement effective controls and corrective actions.\nEnsure worksites have appropriate First Aid and EHS representative coverage.\nFacilities and Maintenance Leadership\nLead and manage facility projects, including space planning, resource utilization, building improvements, and future development initiatives.\nEnsure buildings, grounds, mechanical systems, electrical services, backup systems, and site infrastructure are maintained and improved as needed.\nManage vendor contracts, resolve vendor issues, and oversee services such as cleaning, security, and waste management.\nManage preventative maintenance and breakdown coverage for production equipment, including use of the Hippo Preventative Maintenance system.\nSupport installation of new equipment, including early involvement in equipment design and facility readiness.\nSupervise maintenance teammates, including Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance General, and Maintenance Custodian roles.\nMaintain active communication with Conax Technologies facilities and build productive working relationships across departments, customers, suppliers, and teammates.\nUse visual management to track projects, measure performance, and support problem-solving at Gemba.\nDrive continuous improvement using data, KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration to balance priorities, effort, impact, and resources.\nRemain available for emergencies or urgent facility and safety issues as they arise.\nPresent information effectively to all levels of the organization and create documentation in the Conax Technologies Wiki.\nModel Conax core values: integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer centricity, and teamwork.\nSalary ranges for this position vary by job location and are determined based on experience, reflecting our commitment to recognizing individual expertise and contributions.\nSuccessful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
