The organization operates in a highly regulated manufacturing environment focused on operational excellence, financial discipline, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA, SOX, EPICOR, Blackline preferred5+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within manufacturing or aerospace environmentsStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsUnderstanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing operationsExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and month-end close processesKnowledge of revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting is a plusStrong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environmentDay to Day Responsibilities Support accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with U.S. GAAPAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisSupervise accounting functions including reporting, billing, budgeting, and reconciliationsSupport payroll reconciliations, banking transactions, and cash flow forecastingAnalyze labor, material, overhead, inventory, and production costs while identifying trends and variancesPrepare financial reports, gross margin analysis, and management reporting packagesMaintain and strengthen internal controls, audit support, and SOX compliance documentationPartner with operational leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiativesSupport ERP and process improvement initiatives across finance and operationsCoordinate audit requests, reporting requirements, and ad hoc financial analysis for leadershipMonitor inventory valuation and manufacturing cost reporting to ensure accuracy and complianceFoster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across departments
