This position blends strong Java engineering with modern cloud-native development, automation, and AI-driven productivityJob Title: Senior Java DeveloperLocation: Wilmington, DEKey Responsibilities:Execute creative, high-impact software solutions and break down complex technical challengesDevelop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code to maintain engineering excellenceAutomate recurring issues to improve application stability and operational efficiencyLead technical evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architecture and solution fitPromote engineering best practices and foster communities of practice around emerging technologiesRequired Skills & ExperienceFormal training or certification in software engineeringStrong Java development experience, including enterprise API developmentHands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stabilityProficiency in automation and CI/CD practicesDeep understanding of the SDLC, resiliency, and security principlesStrong experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda)Infrastructure-as-code expertise using TerraformDemonstrated exposure to AI/ML, agentic AI, or intelligent cloud systems; ability to use AI tools like Copilot or Claude for productivityPractical cloud-native development experienceSalary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
