This role is hands‑on and highly collaborative, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and easy to operate.You’ll help us balance startup agility with production‑grade reliability—building systems that “just work” while continuously improving how we ship and operate software.What You’ll DoDesign, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting our production and non‑production environmentsOwn CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable deploymentsMonitor system performance, availability, and security; proactively identify and fix issuesImprove observability through logging, metrics, and alertingManage infrastructure as code and configuration managementCollaborate with software engineers to improve application reliability, performance, and scalabilitySupport incident response and post‑incident reviews, focusing on learning and continuous improvementHelp establish lightweight best practices for security, backups, and disaster recoveryEvaluate and introduce tools and services that make the team more effectiveWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure‑focused engineering roleStrong working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentalsAbility to work independently, make trade‑offs, and take ownership in a startup environmentStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetNice to HaveExperience working at a startup or small engineering teamFamiliarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)Experience supporting data‑driven or SaaS applicationsExposure to compliance or security standards (SOC 2, ISO, etc.)Location: Boston, MA or Remote (U.S.-based)Employment Type: Full‑time
