This role orchestrates interrelated projects, aligns executive stakeholders, and manages program-level risks and dependencies. The Project Portfolio Manager serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, mentors project managers, and ensures initiatives deliver against strategic goals.\n\nEssential Functions\nOversees multiple interrelated projects as a unified program with strategic business value.\nChairs steering committees and communicates effectively with executive stakeholders.\nDrives cross-project dependency alignment, resource planning, and timeline negotiation.\nMentors and advises project managers on delivery methods and execution challenges.\nManages program-level budgets, KPIs, and benefits tracking.\nLeads vendor negotiations and external partner collaboration.\nRepresents the program in strategic planning discussions and governance reviews.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMaintains regular and reliable attendance.\nComplies with all policies and standards.\nThis is a fully remote aside from some travel, there will be an average of one trip per month, typically occurring Monday through Thursday to visit facility sites.\nRequired:\nBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related required\n5-7 years of experience in project and/or program management required\nExpert in PPM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira) required\nCertified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI or obtained within six (6) months of employment required\nPreferred:\n10 + years of healthcare IT experience highly preferred\n3 + years of program management experience highly preferred\n5 + years of dedicated experience with Acute Facility EHR Implementation highly preferred\nOracle Health EHR platform expertise highly preferred\nProven multi-facility design, planning, and execution background in a hospital setting.\nComprehensive structural knowledge of all phases of the EHR deployment lifecycle and ongoing support preferred\nDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project portfolios or enterprise-wide initiatives preferred\nExpert-level proficiency across the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project) preferred\n3 years of experience utilizing Smartsheet for project tracking and centralization (preferred)\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nDeep expertise in managing complex, multi-workstream programs with cross-functional and cross-organizational dependencies.\nOperates independently with minimal oversight, owning the end-to-end delivery of large programs and portfolios.\nStrong leadership skills in managing one-on-one relationships with Project Managers; acts as a technical and delivery mentor.\nProven ability to negotiate and influence outcomes with vendors, executives, and key stakeholders.\nAdvanced skills in enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across interdependent projects.\nExpert in program-level risk and issue management, with the ability to proactively develop mitigation and contingency strategies.\nSkilled at orchestrating executive presentations, reporting on KPIs, and translating program health into actionable insights.\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
