Help to create an environment to attract, develop, retain and engage talent throughout the Operating Company (OpCo) to deliver business goals.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPartner with Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to execute core HR processes (e.g. performance management, talent management, total rewards, compensation, training and development, interactive process of transitional return to work, etc.).\nProvide coaching and guidance to leaders and associates regarding HR in areas such as policy and procedure.\nCollaborate with leaders and COEs to support recruitment and staffing plans.\nWork with the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.\nDevelops, implements and administers programs to enhance associate engagement and satisfaction levels (e.g. Sysco Speaks action planning).\nEmployee and labor relations (investigations, conflict resolution).\nSupport in reviewing, interpreting, administering and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures.\nEnsuring the initial report is entered into RisxFacs for Worker' Compensation (WC) and Liability and acting as a liaison between Gallagher Bassett (GB) and associate.\nAssists in determining training needs and developing programs to improve performance and professional development.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nBachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field required for external candidates but preferred for internal candidates.\nExperience\n5 years of experience in Human Resources management or equivalent with 3 years of which have been in a supervisory position preferred and/or an equivalent combination of related training, education and Sysco experience.\nCertificates, Licenses and Registrations\nHuman Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.\nSystems Applications and Products (e.g. SAP, Workday, etc.) experience preferred.\nProfessional Skills\nGiving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.\nMotivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.\nBeing aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.\nTalking to others to convey information effectively and the ability to speak so others can understand you.\nAdjusting actions concerning others' actions\nUsing logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.\nUnderstanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.\nListening to and understanding the information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.\nReading and understanding the information and ideas presented in writing.\nCommunicating information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.\nConveying information and ideas in writing so others will understand\nConsidering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.\nBringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.\nIdentifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.\nApplying general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.\nPerceiving when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
