Here's what the work actually looks like:\n\nDesigning and assembling electrical control panels under 480V for packaging machinery\nSpecifying and configuring Allen-Bradley hardware — MCCs, VFDs, IO cards, power supplies, Ethernet switches\nDesigning integrated control systems using PLCs networked to Remote IO Panels\nSpecifying instruments used in packaging and processing environments — photo-eyes, proximity switches, flow and pressure transmitters, solenoid valves\nDesigning pneumatic systems and sizing components appropriately\nWorking in AutoCAD Electrical\nCommissioning and de-bugging systems in the field after installation\nApplying NEC and UL requirements for industrial control panels\n\nA two-year degree in an electrical technology field is the baseline, though relevant hands-on experience with a controls integrator or OEM carries equal weight. Some travel required — typically under 25%.\n\nA bit about us:\n-\n\nWe're an engineering firm with deep roots and a culture that reflects it — collaborative, technically serious, and built around people who take ownership of their work in every sense of the word. We operate across a wide range of industries and project types, and we've grown steadily by doing good work and keeping good people. The work is technical, the team is collaborative, and Green Bay, WI offers a quality of life that most engineering hubs can't compete with.\n\nIf you've spent your career at an OEM or controls integrator and want to bring that experience somewhere it'll actually be valued, this is worth a conversation.\n\n#engineering #plc #allen-bradley #vfd #ladder-logic #autocad-electrical #motor-control-center #tier2","company":"Leoforce","rawCompany":"leoforce","city":"Appleton","state":"WI","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-22T15:56:59.763Z","occupations":[{"code":"17-2071.00","title":"Electrical Engineers","slug":"electrical-engineers"},{"code":"17-2072.00","title":"Electronics Engineers, Except Computer","slug":"electronics-engineers-except-computer"},{"code":"17-3012.00","title":"Electrical and Electronics Drafters","slug":"electrical-and-electronics-drafters"}],"industries":[{"code":"335314","title":"Relay and Industrial Control Manufacturing","slug":"relay-and-industrial-control-manufacturing"},{"code":"541330","title":"Engineering Services","slug":"engineering-services"},{"code":"335313","title":"Switchgear and Switchboard Apparatus Manufacturing","slug":"switchgear-and-switchboard-apparatus-manufacturing"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Electrical Designer","description":"Experience: Senior Level\nSalary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year\n\nJob Details\n-\n\nWe're looking for an Electrical Designer with approximately 10 years of OEM experience — ideally in Pulp and Paper or Food and Dairy — who can own the design and delivery of industrial control systems.
