Senior Director, ITLocation: Los Angeles, California (Onsite)Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 + annual bonusAbout The RoleSprintRay is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Director of IT to lead the evolution of our technology ecosystem from a traditional support function into a strategic driver of business performance.This role is not just about managing infrastructure—it’s about reimagining how technology, data, and AI can be leveraged across the organization to improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making. You will partner cross-functionally to evaluate people, processes, and systems, and implement modern, automated, and AI-enabled solutions that help SprintRay operate smarter and faster.We are looking for a hands-on leader who can operate at both a strategic and executional level—someone who can define the vision and also drive implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology & Business TransformationAssess current systems, workflows, and tools across all departments and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and automationLead the design and implementation of a modern, integrated technology stack that supports company growthDrive digital transformation initiatives, including the adoption of AI/ML tools to enhance decision-making, productivity, and operational insightPartner with leadership to align IT strategy with overall business goalsAI & Automation LeadershipIdentify and deploy AI-driven solutions across functions (e.g., operations, customer support, sales, finance)Champion a culture of automation and continuous improvementEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical applications within the businessIT Infrastructure & OperationsOversee IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and data governanceEnsure reliability, scalability, and security of all internal systemsManage vendors, tools, and external partnersData & Systems StrategyImprove data visibility and accessibility across the organizationImplement systems that enable better reporting, forecasting, and KPI trackingDrive integration across platforms (ERP, CRM, manufacturing systems, etc.)Leadership & Cross-Functional PartnershipBuild and lead a high-performing IT function (initially lean, with potential to scale)Act as a strategic partner to department leaders to understand pain points and deliver solutionsTranslate technical concepts into business impact for executive stakeholdersRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in IT, systems, or technology leadership rolesExperience operating at a Director or VP level in a high-growth or technology-driven environmentStrong track record of leading digital transformation or modernization initiativesHands-on experience implementing AI, automation, or advanced analytics solutions within a businessDeep understanding of business systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms, integrations)Ability to evaluate and optimize people, process, and technology holisticallyStrong execution mindset—able to move from strategy to implementation quicklyExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, healthcare, medtech, or hardware-enabled businessesFamiliarity with scaling systems in a fast-growing companyExperience building IT functions from the ground upEmployment TypeFull-timeAbout SprintRaySprintRay is rewriting the rules of dentistry with technology that’s smart, fast, and designed to make life easier for dental professionals.
