Inventory Associate

Job Description JOB SUMMARY:The Inventory Associate plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory and supporting warehouse operations. This position ensures materials are properly received, tracked, stored, and maintained to support production and client deliverables in a fast-paced environment.Backup Coverage:The Inventory Control Associate supports the department and warehouse operations as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform daily system updatesAssist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and auditsReceive incoming materials and verify accuracy against documentationOrganize and store materials in designated warehouse locationsMonitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortagesEnsure materials are handled and stored in compliance with safety guidelinesFollow and support all OSHA and company safety proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentDispose of obsolete or recyclable materials appropriatelyProvide backup support for receiving and warehouse operations as neededAssist other departments to support overall business needsPerform other duties as assignedWillingness to work 40+ hours per week and weekends when necessary.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED required1–3 years of experience in inventory, receiving, or warehouse environment preferredExperience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment preferredBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Familiarity with inventory systems is a plusAbility to perform basic math for counts and reconciliationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentEffective communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)Reliable attendance and flexibility with schedule as neededSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
