Procurement Specialist / Procurement Systems Manager – Zip Platform
OverviewA world-Leading AI Company is seeking a Procurement Systems Manager – Zip Platform Contractor to support configuration, workflow enhancements, and operational improvements across its procurement intake-to-pay ecosystem. The role focuses heavily on Zip administration, workflow automation, request routing, and procurement process optimization.This is a highly execution-focused role partnering with Procurement, Accounting, Legal, Security, and Enterprise Technology teams to improve scalable and compliant procurement operations.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and maintain Zip HQ forms, fields, routing rules, approval chains, automations, and procurement workflowsExecute system enhancements and configuration updates to improve request submission, tracking, and routing efficiencySupport intake question updates, conditional logic, guided buying flows, field validation, and request clarity improvementsIdentify recurring system/process friction and operational pain points using stakeholder feedback and request dataCollaborate with Procurement Ops, AP, Finance, Legal, Security, and Enterprise Tech teams to support controls and reporting needsSupport AI-enabled enhancements within Zip including procurement agents, triage support, guided intake, and reviewer workflowsMaintain runbooks, release notes, training documentation, and change management materials for scalable usage across teamsRequired QualificationsHands-on experience administering/configuring Zip procurement platform (intake-to-procure / intake-to-pay)Strong experience with forms, workflow routing, approvals, conditional logic, and automation workflowsUnderstanding of procurement orchestration concepts including standardized intake, visibility, and compliance-by-designExperience supporting AI-assisted workflows and automation-driven procurement improvementsStrong operational execution mindset with ability to identify issues and independently implement solutionsData-driven approach with focus on user experience, operational metrics, and process improvement
