We invite you to join the team where you can build, innovate, and secure your career.\nSentar is seeking a Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, Co!\nRole Description:\nSentar is looking for a Systems Engineer to support U.S. Air Force’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)/Sentinel program out of Huntsville, AL. The scope of this contract is to replace the Minuteman III missile.\nAnalyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.\nAnalyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.\nIncorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.\nDevelops technical documentation.\nDevelops system architecture and system design documentation.\nInteracts with the team regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.\nResponsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility.\nQualifications:\nClearance Level: Active DoD Secret clearance obtained or adjudicated within the past 6 years and SAP/SCI eligibility\nEducation: Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.\nExperience:\nSE 0: No experience required.\nSE 1: 5 years' experience.\nSE 2: 10 years' experience.\nSE 3: 15 years' experience.\n4 years of additional experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree.\nRequired:\n\nExperience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture.\nExperience with SysML, UML, or DoDAF modeling languages.\nPreferred:\n\nFamiliarity in Agile, C/C++, and real-time processing including processes threads, scheduling, synchronization mechanisms and memory management required.\nExperience with full software life-cycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance required.\nExperience with JIRA/Confluence.\nExperience with safety critical and nuclear critical software development.\nFamiliarity with a structured process driven software development environment including peer reviews of all work products, using a revision control system, defect tracking and build release practices required.\nExperience with Git products.\nExperience with applied automated testing techniques including unit and integration testing.\nExperience with test framework/application and system verification.\nBenefits at Sentar:\nOur unique employee ownership model attracts top talent, giving employees the freedom to take initiative and drive meaningful improvements.
