Therefore, we seek applicants who can demonstrate their understanding of justice and who can inspire our increasingly diverse student population.The Student Health Center Director directs all aspects of the health center and delivers health services to students at Carroll University.Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive physical examinations, obtain medical histories and develop treatment plansOrder, perform and interpret lab resultsPrescribe medications and treatments in compliance with WI state lawsMaintain health records of students, including initial data gathering and updating as necessaryCollaborate with other student life and university student support staff.Communicate professionally with students, colleagues, parents and off-campus medical professionals, and insurance representatives when necessaryDevelop and implement health education programs/materials for campus communityArrange referrals, appointments and transportation for students as neededAssist with the maintaining, ordering of medications and medical supplies as neededPerform point of care testing (e.g. Flu, Covid, etc.)Supervise professional staff member and student employees in the Health CenterContribute to campus wellness initiatives through outreach, education and programming regarding health and wellness topicsCreate and manage the budget for the Student Health CenterWork with the Vice President for Student Life on creating and maintaining University student health policies and practicesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Education and/or Experience:MSN or DNP from an accredited program requiredActive NP license in WI, with at least 5 years of clinical experienceExcellent physical assessment skills and phlebotomy skillsElectronic Medical Records experienceStrong critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentTechnology Skills:Experience in college health or adolescent medicine preferredComputer experience, knowledge of word processing, and basic computer program familiarityHuman Relations Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with college students and Carroll community colleaguesAbility to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCandidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.Human Relations Skills:Must be flexible with schedule, limited evening/weekend hours may be necessary (e.g. in the event of a crisis or campus event)To apply, please visit: https://secure4.saashr.com/ta/6153588.careers?ShowJob=990140288Copyright ©2025 Jobelephant.com Inc.
