They are experts in the entire MongoDB ecosystem — database server, drivers, cloud, and infrastructure, including services such as Atlas (database as a service) and Cloud Manager (automation, backup, monitoring). Our engineers combine their MongoDB expertise with passion, initiative, teamwork and a great sense of humor to achieve exceptional results for our customers.\n\nWe are looking to speak to candidates based in Hawaii or near one of our West Coast offices for our hybrid or remote working models. The FedRAMP program requires that anyone accessing customer data inside the Authorization Boundary be a US Citizen on US soil. This posting is for Second Shift, 12 pm–9 pm PST. After an initial 6–9 months of ramping, team members transition to a permanent Wednesday‑through‑Sunday work week to provide weekend coverage. Saturdays and Sundays are fully online workdays and not an on‑call shift. Certain events throughout the year will require volunteering for coverage outside normal workdays or hours.\n\nCool things you’ll do\nYou will work alongside our largest customers, solving complex issues and responding to questions on architecture, performance, recovery, security, and everything in between. You will be an expert resource on standard methodologies for running MongoDB at scale, and an advocate for customers’ needs, working with product management and development teams on their behalf.
