This role involves using hand tools and machines, and ensuring quality standards are met.\r\nPay rate: $21.00 per hour\r\nPrimary Responsibilities:\r\nUse tools to make or repair parts and products.\r\nInterpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.\r\nWork with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products at takt rate.\r\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\r\nIdentify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.\r\nTake precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.\r\nMaintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.\r\nDocument actions by completing production and quality forms.\r\nContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\r\nOrganize and maintain raw materials and work in process within the work area.\r\nImplements and maintains department policies and standards.\r\nOther Duties as assigned.\r\nQualifications:\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\r\n1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\nKnowledge Skills and Abilities:\r\nStrong written communication and verbal skills.\r\nAbility to use reason to solve problems as they arise and identify areas for improvement.\r\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\r\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.\r\nAbility to multi-task and to retain skills and knowledge.\r\nTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and drawings.\r\nAbility to work both individually and in groups.\r\nApply good judgment and follow directions.\r\nProven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self.\r\nAbility to use a computer, including Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).\r\nStrong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.\r\nAbility to either stand or sit for extended periods.\r\nAbility to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop.\r\nAbility to grab small parts or hand tools with hands.\r\nProven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, goals and objectives for self.\r\nAbility to effectively & professionally communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors.\r\nPhysical Requirements:\r\nEssential functions of this job require the following minimal physical demands.
