We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.\nJob Summary\nEH&S Support, Administration and Site Responsibilities:\nLead the monthly facility safety committee meetings.\nHelp complete incident investigations.\nHandle all necessary documentation related to injuries including but not limited to near miss, first aid, accident and incident investigations, and reporting.\nSupport environmental compliance through disposal arrangement, hazardous waste records, wastewater reports, storm water plan, chemical usage reports, air quality reporting, solid waste disposal and fire department business plan.\nMaintain environmental excel spreadsheets such as VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and paint usage logs for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting\nHelp analyze EHS data to determine validity and quality\nCollect samples for SWPPP, Hazwaste and Industrial wastewater\nProvide general administrative support to EHS team\nTraining, Inspections and Auditing Responsibilities:\nResponsible for safety training, coordination, and distribution of all weekly safety training topics for all employees\nEnsure safety inspections are completed and track corrective actions to completion.\nResponsible for surveys, safety committees and proper record keeping of all safety events\nAssist with tracking metrics and data, such as: Lagging Indicators: Lost Time Incident; OSHA recordables, Leading Indicators: First Aid and Near Misses; Successful regulatory audits/inspections; Successful completion rate of closing action items; Successful completion rate of all EHS compliance calendar items; Successful completion rate of all scheduled inspections\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nComputer knowledge and skills, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and EHS management software such as Gensuite\nAbility to work independently and a good attention to detail\nStrong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written\nAbility to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines as required\nAbility to work effectively even under pressure\nTeam oriented with a continuous improvement outlook\n\nRequired Experience and Education\nPursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in EHS related field preferred.\nPrefer some experience with environmental and safety within a manufacturing environment.\nSalary Range: $53,000 to $84,000\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled\n\n268 E.
