Job Description Customer Service RepresentativeReports to: Office Supervisor/Operations Manager 6/7/2021Page 1 of 2Position SummaryLeads day-to-day operational activities pertaining to the Customer Service Department. Processesdocumentation for shipments including Packing lists and MTR'S. Effectively Communicates withcustomer and sales regarding order status/shipment, order discrepancies, MTR's and specialrequests.All while maintaining a clean and safe office work environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesIn addition to the Responsibilities of "Customer Service":• Effectively communicates with department supervisors and upper management. Utilizes the emailgroups to communicate with sales and operations departments.• Manages Daily operational reports to identify priority orders and expediting needs includingback order reports.• Coordinates with Sales regarding order information and requests (priority levels, issues, orderchanges, cancellations, etc.).• Coordinates outbound shipments with Logistics department.• Processes and handles packing lists according to order specifications and requests from salesand the customer.• Supports Will-Call traffic by processing documents in a timely manner.• Emails all shipping documents to sales and the customer.• Executes Direct MTR mill requests.• Generates Modification Letters for machined items.• Maintains a clean and safe work environment• Duties are not limited to those described above, and may be expanded as needed.Information and Activities Critical to Process Quality• Documentation: All documentation related to Release/Order must be accounted for and match theproduct description, Heat and manufacturer per order specifications.o Ensure MTR's are correctly printed and paired with PL.o All orders must have an accompanying Weights and Dimension sheeto Separate and pair releases to the release board (Order Coordinator/Expeditor).o Verification of all shipped orders (same day or within 24 hours)• Managing Sales requests:o MTR Retrievalo Packing listo Hold for Inspectionso Ship Via Requestso Documentation discrepancies and communicationDepartment ResponsibilitiesQF-432.06 Rev: A-05/21/2018Company DescriptionWe offer an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), disability, and paid time off.
