The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and a proactive attitude to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.\nResponsibilities\nOperate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming tools such as Fanuc controls.\nSet up machinery using blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD drawings, and tooling specifications to ensure precise production runs.\nPerform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of equipment to maximize uptime and maintain safety standards.\nUse precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure product specifications are met.\nHandle materials safely within the factory environment, utilizing forklifts for materials handling and transportation when necessary.\nConduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.\nMaintain detailed records of production activities, including shift reports, incident logs, and quality documentation.\nSupport assembly line operations by assisting with fabrication, welding, or packaging tasks as needed.\nFollow safety protocols rigorously while operating hand tools and machinery in a fast-paced factory setting.\nExperience\nProven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on machine operation.\nStrong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in operating CNC machines (including CNC programming), stamping presses, press brakes, CAM programming, and CAD software such as SolidWorks.\nExperience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Fanuc controls, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automation equipment preferred.\nAbility to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings with GD&T standards.\nSkilled in using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance purposes.\nKnowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus.\nBasic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.\nPrior factory or manufacturing experience emphasizing safety procedures, quality control practices, and efficient workflow management is highly desirable.
