This position can expect up to 30 hours a month of work.The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling and analyzing SEO metrics for Masthead's clients, creating comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports, identifying trends, and noting discrepancies for further review by our strategists. For select clients, pulling and analyzing email metrics will be included in reporting. Experience with automating analytics reporting is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Pull analytics data using tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and Semrush.Create detailed monthly and quarterly analytics reports in written and/or presentation format.Identify positive and negative trends in the data and evaluate potential causes, including industry-wide fluctuations.Provide data-driven recommendations for content optimizations and strategic shifts.Flag discrepancies and anomalies that should be reviewed by a strategist with client-specific expertise.Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, tools, and best practices.Qualifications:Proven experience as an SEO data analyst or a similar role.Strong proficiency in SEO analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Semrush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs).Expert-level fluency in Google Sheets.Experience in creating comprehensive and visually appealing reports using Google Slides and data and charts from Google Sheets. Demonstrated ability to identify trends, analyze data, and provide actionable insights.Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in data.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.Experience with automating analytics reporting using tools like Zapier or other automation and AI tools.Familiarity with the financial industry is an advantage. About MastheadMasthead elevates the world’s most iconic brands with content strategy and programming that inspires authentic connections and drives meaningful action.
