Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistLocation: City of IndustryPay Rate: $23-$24/hour (based on experience)Schedule: Full-TimeEmployment Type: Contract (3-4 months)Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a busy accounting team on a 3-4 month contract. This role will focus on billing, cash application, and collections while ensuring accuracy and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely mannerApply cash receipts, ACH, and wire payments to customer accountsReconcile accounts receivable balances and investigate discrepanciesFollow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections effortsMaintain accurate customer records and payment historyReview aging reports and escalate past-due accounts as neededCollaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issuesSupport month-end close activities related to AR Qualifications:2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experienceStrong understanding of AR processes, billing, and cash applicationProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systemsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and customer service skills Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison LauBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
