ApplyJob TypeInternshipDescriptionJob DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineering Intern helps provide assistance to the operations department by analyzing and developing processes, work instructions, test specifications, BOMs, and drawings. The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will work closely with the operations team to help support the needs of the department.Job Duties:Plays an active role in process analysis and development including review of process mapping, work flows, manufacturing requirements, work packages, quality requirements, and operations functions.Takes direction from Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, or Operations ManagerIdentify, review and develop product improvements.Identify, review and implement development process improvements.Assist with data collection and analysis of production KPIs and metrics.Initiate interdepartmental communication.Works in a team environment.RequirementsEducation and Experience Required:Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, inspection, and measurement techniques preferredProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, etc.)Salary Description$19.00-$22.00/hour
