Engineer","description":"Work will be predominantly be done in the field with a small amount at home.\n\nTargeted Years of Experience:\n5-7 Years\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nHands-on experience with the design and install of equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks\n\nHand-on experience with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment\n\nExperience with coordinating installation of new in-building networks or equipment\n\nAbility to evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems\n\nExperience with managing large build projects involving broadband services, and ensure timely planning and implementation\n\nExperience with producing technical as-built documentation\n\nAbility to provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams\n\nMust Have Skills:\n\nGeneral knowledge & experience with the design and install of in-building network architectures\n\nGeneral work area hazard identification & prevention\n\nKnowledge & experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals)\n\nHands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting coax and Cat6a Ethernet cabling\n\nMust possess a vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment\n\nHands-on experience working off of ladders (step/extension/folding)\n\nHands-on experience with drilling in multiple dwelling/commercial buildings\n\nFrontline experience with working with customer/clients\n\nDesired Skills:\n\nKnowledge & experience with Google Suite and other computer and mobility based applications\n\nA four-year college degree or equivalent field
