ITS CareersThe future depends on what you do today!Group Event Consultant - NationwideThis position is responsible for arranging and managing corporate and group travel services, including air, hotel, and car reservations. This role requires strong expertise in Sabre, exceptional organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The consultant supports company profitability by utilizing preferred vendors, ensuring PNR integrity, and maintaining high productivity and service standards.DepartmentGroups & EventsReports ToRegional Vice President, TripEventsKey ResponsibilitiesArrange and book corporate and group air, hotel, and car reservations via phone, email, and spreadsheetsOperate within company standards for customer service, productivity, quality, and operating proceduresMaintain thorough knowledge of the travel industry, airline rules, and regulationsAccurately build, update, and maintain PNRs and ensure proper ticketingUtilize CRS systems effectively to support vendor commitments and company profitabilityUse Preferred Vendors To Maximize Company RevenueApply problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environmentParticipate in the use of mid-office products to ensure PNR integrityCollaborate with peers and contribute positively as a team memberSuggest process improvements to benefit the team and organizationAttend required training sessions and team meetingsThis is the Maintain punctuality, excellent attendance, and readiness for scheduled work hours headingCommunicate promptly with management regarding significant issues or developmentsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of corporate travel consultant experience using SabreAbility to produce a minimum of 300 ticketed transactions per monthGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, simple formulas, and organizing information in spreadsheets.Above-average skills in time management, listening, presentation, and written and verbal communicationStrong organizational, analytical, follow-up, flexibility, and customer service skillsProven ability to make sound decisions and manage priorities effectivelyDemonstrated professionalism, teamwork, reliability, and punctualityFlexibility to work varied hours, including after-hours, to support urgent mobilizationsPreferred QualificationsGroup planning and/or group air and hotel coordination experienceHotel contract negotiation and management experienceFuture Areas of AccountabilityContribute ideas and support initiatives across other areas of the company as neededContinued growth in group fulfillment and client and vendor interactionsLearn and utilize group online registration platforms such as Cvent and TripEventsAdditional Responsibilities To Be DeterminedTo ApplySend your resume with cover letter to careers@its.com for consideration.Position Description Subject to Change
