Made Possible.\n\nJob Details\n\nPosition Summary\n\nTo safely operate & maintain an Offset Printing Press in order to efficiently & effectively manufacture folding cartons. Responsible for production performance and crew management.\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\n\nProduction management to include:\nMachine setup, adjustments, make readies\nTroubleshooting of machine and/or quality issues\nAdherence to maintenance schedule\nCompletion of required product and process audits\nExchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift\nAdherence to quality specifications\nIdentification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & spoilage\nProduction schedule output and timeframes\nCrew management to include:\nTraining of crew members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively\nEnforcing compliance with company policies (i.e., GMP/AIB/Safety)\nMaintaining n clean and safe work area\nEffectively leading work crew to meet production goals\nAttend team meetings.\nActively participate in and support sample production runs.\nOther job duties as assigned.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\n\nIn-depth understanding of printing concepts\nMust have good communication skills\nStrong mechanical aptitude\nAbility to troubleshoot equipment & quality issues\nAbility to train new team members\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nMust have 5+ years of printing experience as either Operator I or Operator II with related job duties and responsibilities\nPost-secondary education in printing technologies, etc. preferred\nGeneral Math skills\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nAbility to lift 50 lbs.\nAbility to stand and work 12-hour rotating work shifts to include holidays and weekends\nMust be able to differentiate colors\nAbility to push 75 lbs.\nAbility to do repetitive work\n\nGPI’s Benefit Program\n\nCompetitive Pay\n401(k) w/employer matching\nHealth & Welfare Benefits\nMedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage\nShort and Long-Term Disability\nLife Insurance\nAccidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance\nFlexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nVarious Voluntary benefits\nAdoption Assistance Program\nEmployee Discount Programs\nEmployee Assistance Program\nTuition Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each year\n\nApplications accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.\n\nGraphic Packaging is an equal opportunity employer and abides by all applicable federal, state provincial and local laws with respect to the recruitment and hiring process.
