This is a customer facing role, delivered remotely, so communication skills and the ability to contribute on a highly functioning team are a must. The position is permanent and full-time and not a contract position.\nNo 1099, C2C or Corp to Corp candidates please.\nPosition Summary\nThe Salesforce Developer works on a highly functional team of Salesforce certified professionals and assists in developing specifications; contributing to solution design; and configuring the Salesforce platform in response to client needs and planned usage for the platform. This position participates in design and coding activities, working collaboratively with other team members and the client team.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build and deploy innovative Salesforce solutions including complex Flows, Lightning Web Components, Apex triggers and classes, VisualForce pages and more\nExecute declarative Salesforce platform configuration when possible\nUse Apex, Visualforce and JavaScript to create unique customer-based solutions\nBuild product integrations using API's, Apex and iPaaS technologies\nDevelop new native products on the platform\nInteract directly with our customers and the Summit Technologies team, including consultants, project managers, business analysts, architects and sales reps to ensure customer success\nParticipate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment\nEssential Functions\nPossesses knowledge, skills, and experience building custom declarative and programmatic applications on the Force.com platform\nDesign data models, user interfaces, business logic, and security for custom applications\nContributes to the overall Salesforce solution that optimizes the client’s investment in the platform, balancing business needs with technical complexity. Specifically, this position will utilize Apex, JavaScript and Visualforce to create unique client-based solutions.\nThis role will span all aspects of the software development lifecycle and include working alongside the client’s business, development and user experience teams in a highly collaborative environment\nAbility to translate documented business use cases into functional solutions\nAdheres to platform best practices\nUnderstands and embraces test-driven development, Agile and Scrum methodologies\nResponsible for developing new features and functionality as well as integrating new modules that enhance the client’s experience with the Salesforce platform. Builds product extensions using Visualforce and Apex technologies\nRoutinely participates in problem analysis with client business users and assists in determining software solutions and enhancements.
