Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data, as well as administering, maintaining, developing, and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. The selected candidate will evaluate and recommend available database management system products; perform database and software lifecycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance, availability, and compliance with business requirements; and organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nImplement and maintain DISA STIGs for platforms Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra and/or MONGO DB.\nPerform vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and remediate security weaknesses.\nSupport Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and contribute to Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.\nConduct routine security readiness reviews and document Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items.\nCollaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to validate and report compliance.\nReview database SRG and/or STIGs as updates are released, and report changes with the potential to have significant impact.\nDetermine the impact and risk of submitted change requests prior to implementation and participate in meetings to provide cyber oversight for web changes that affect the level of risk.\nPerform system updates and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching.\nTroubleshoot and resolve database problems.\nPerform database recovery actions.\nModify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues.\nDevelop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.\n,\nRequired Skills\n\nMust have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Database Administrator.\nMust have at least 5 years of Oracle Database Administration experience.\nIn-depth experience implementing and maintaining database security controls.\nIn-depth experience applying Oracle CPU patches, IAVA patches, and other database products.\nIn-depth experience with Linux security as it relates to Oracle databases.\nIn-depth experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems and issues.\nMust have hands-on experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.\nMust have experience with procedural languages such as PL/SQL.\nActive TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.\n,\nDesired Skills\n\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 8 years of related work experience.\nExperience with real-time, highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, and Sybase Replication Server.\nExperience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and/or as a member of an Agile team.\nExtensive experience with database design and development.\nExtensive, in-depth understanding of databases, primarily Oracle and/or other relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.\nExperience using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and SQL in general.\nExperience with Mongo and/or Cassandra.\n,\nAdditional Details\n\nAt CyberCore, we believe in taking care of our employees both inside and outside the workplace.
