The scope includes delivery, configuration, and integration of specified NetApp solutions, along with manufacturer-certified maintenance, updates, and technical support to ensure optimal system performance, security compliance, and mission readiness. This effort ensures DLA’s storage environment remains reliable, high-performing, and fully aligned with federal and DoD standards, enabling uninterrupted operations and the secure management of critical data.Responsibilities:The Senior Application Programmer will serve as the Sustainment Lead or Sustainment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide expert-level guidance in sustainment life cycle management for program and project operations. The role involves analyzing functional business applications and design specifications across key areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts. Responsibilities include developing block diagrams and logic flowcharts, translating detailed designs into software solutions, and performing the full software development lifecycle—design, coding, testing, debugging, and refinement—to deliver high-quality products. The position requires preparing comprehensive program-level and user-level documentation, enhancing software performance and efficiency, and providing technical direction to programmers to meet project deadlines.
