In this role, you will develop and maintain a software application for a high-profile customer as part of an agile scrum team.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign and code software application code that meet functional and non-functional requirements as well as user acceptance criteria.\r\nCreate software code, unit tests and assist with encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation\r\nUnderstand client requirements and prepare designs for translating those into software applications\r\nPerform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications\r\nTroubleshooting production issues, deploying application and configuration components, automation and upgrade.\r\nUtilize GitHub Copilot genAI features and \"vibe coding\" practices to accelerate software development tasks include analysis, design, programming, and validation.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor of Science (BS) degree in related field or equivalent work experience can be substituted instead of a degree.\r\n6+ years of IT Experience design, develop, and maintain both new and existing software applications\r\nExperience developing middle tier, business logic, REST APIs, web services\r\nExperience developing backend, integrations, SQL/T-SQL, Postgres or SQL Server\r\nExperience with Automated Test Development with xUnit\r\nExperience using Github Codespaces integrated development environment\r\nAbility to obtain a Top Secret clearance\r\nPreference given to candidates having existing TS clearance\r\nAbout Softtek Government Solutions\r\nSofttek Government Solutions is a professional services firm focused on addressing our nation's most complex threats and challenges.
