Physical Education / Alternative Education Teacher

Description The School District of Amery is accepting applications for a Physical Education / Alternative Education Teacher to work with students in grades 9-12 at Amery High School. The person in this role will teach physical education and health courses, and will also provide academic intervention and support to students who need additional assistance. Qualified candidates must hold Wisconsin DPI licensure appropriate for the position and must provide complete application, cover letter, three (3) letters of recommendation and most current transcripts. The School District of Amery is a public PK-12 district of approximately 1,200 students in four buildings on one campus. Amery is one of the highest achieving districts in Western Wisconsin. The district encompasses 190+ square miles in Polk and St. Croix Counties, approximately one hour from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The city of Amery is known as the "City of Lakes" and is comprised of four lakes and the Apple River.
