Typically the educational requirement is equivalent to a BS with 1‑5 years of experience.\n\nHands‑on operational experience with a comprehensive knowledge of SLS and heritage Booster hardware design/production/assembly, as well as Booster operational processes, procedures, and systems.\n\nExtensive experience with SLS and heritage Booster assembly production planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling is required. Knowledge of SLS and heritage hardware production processing facilities, equipment, and tooling at the Rotation Processing and Surge Facility, VAB, and prime contractor facilities.\n\nExperience and detailed knowledge of Booster assembly operations, sequencing timelines, labor‑loading, and associated operations procedures.\n\nDemonstrated effective communication skills dealing with a technically diverse group of personnel (technician, engineer, quality, management) with a broad range of experience.\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and have a STAR ID.\n\nHighly Desired Skills\n\nAbility to effectively communicate significant programmatic/technical issues and potential resolution options to appropriate BEO personnel.\n\nWorking knowledge of the Booster element, including an understanding of Booster unique production planning document development processes.\n\nPreviously demonstrated effective working relationship with Booster design/assembly personnel.\n\nAn understanding and knowledge of the current SLS program and a working understanding of the SLS vehicle and interfaces.\n\nEssential Functions\nWork Environment\nOffice environment.
