This position will be responsible for management of the day-to-day operations of the human resources function across ACS' 70+ employees & consultants across three global offices. This role will also have the opportunity to develop new policies and procedures and make their mark on the culture of a growing firm.This position reports to the Director - HR & Talent ManagementKey ResponsibilitiesHR Generalist will have the following responsibilities:Assist with payroll process, ensuring both accuracy and timelinessPrepare documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefitsCoordinate and manage recruiting efforts globallyManage sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and filesRespond to and put through various queries from managers and employees, and from other agencies or departmentsCoordinate staff training events or programs and recommend resources, as neededStay current on organizational issues and initiatives affecting the Human Resources functionAdminister and monitor new hire orientation programsAssist with the annual employee performance appraisal processUpdate, develop and maintain HR Policies and ProceduresAssist our Legal Team with ad hoc administrative dutiesProvide backup to office administration functions as needed Critical Success FactorsAs ACS is a progressive and dynamic company, one must also be confident working within a fast-paced, high-pressure, and fast-changing environmentHas an empathetic personality; collaborates well, exemplifies ACS' core valuesIs a self-starter with excellent motivation and an ability to work independentlyHas excellent communication and organizational skills Employment Basis / Organization SummaryPosition based out of ACS's Austin, TX office; relocation assistance provided for qualified candidatesCompetitive compensation plan based upon experience levelTop-tier benefit package including a full suite of insurance coverage, pension/retirement contributions, and paid time off Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degreeSHRM/PHR certification is a plusMinimum 1-2 years of experienceEffective problem-solving skillsEffective communicator verbally as well as through writing skillsAble to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targetsAbility to multi-task and meet high expectations
