You'll design and develop high-performance, user-facing software that bridges hardware, firmware, AI, and immersive experiences. As a Software Development Engineer (Full-Stack & AI), you will design, build, and ship the critical software infrastructure and user interfaces that power VONDER's AI product ecosystem. You will operate across the entire stack—bridging cloud-based LLM services, scalable backends, and highly responsive frontends (companion apps and web). Collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and design teams, you will turn bleeding-edge AI models into seamless, real-time wearable experiences for hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End AI Application Development: Architect, implement, and scale AI-driven features, integrating LLMs, multimodal models, and agentic workflows into production-ready consumer experiences.Full-Stack Implementation: Develop robust backend services (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, cloud infra, vector databases) and polished frontend interfaces (React/React Native, iOS/Android, or modern web frameworks).Latency & Performance Optimization: Optimize API pipelines, data streaming (WebSockets, WebRTC), and inference architectures to ensure ultra-low latency for real-time voice and vision interactions on wearable devices.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with product managers, hardware/firmware engineers, and designers to ensure tight, flawless integration between cloud AI capabilities and on-device execution.Engineering Excellence: Write clean, scalable, well-documented code, implement rigorous testing, and drive software engineering best practices within a fast-moving startup environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience with a demonstrated track record of exceptional work.3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, ideally shipping consumer-facing products, mobile apps, or high-traffic web platforms.AI/ML Applied Experience: Hands-on experience building production AI applications using OpenAI APIs, open-source LLMs, RAG architectures, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and Vector Databases.Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong coding skills in modern languages and frameworks, such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or Java.
