This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in caregiving and patient support.\nResponsibilities\nAssist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.\nMonitor and observe patients’ health status, including vital signs and overall well-being, while maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.\nSupport medication administration and care plan implementation under supervision to ensure safety and adherence to prescribed treatments.\nPrepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking to meet individual dietary needs..\nMaintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols in accordance with health standards.\nEngage clients in social activities and therapeutic programs to foster community involvement and emotional well-being.\nFollow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols to respond effectively during emergencies or incidents.\nQualifications\nPrior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly preferred.\nKnowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential.\nCertifications such as CPR, first aid, HIPAA compliance training, or nursing assistant credentials are advantageous.\nExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, is desirable.\nAbility to perform heavy lifting safely .\nStrong communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others’ well-being.\nFlexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for client care continuity.
