Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the federal benefits assessment process. In this role, you will conduct structured, in-person medical assessments and review supporting documentation to ensure evaluations are accurate, fair, and timely. The role is strictly assessment-based, with no diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive, in-person disability evaluations for Veterans. Review and interpret medical records using secure electronic systems. Document examination findings clearly, accurately, and in standardized report formats. Provide objective, evidence-based medical opinions based on examination results. Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and respect in every Veteran interaction. Note: Final disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).Qualifications Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Strong proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and digital documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
