Working Supervisor

Immediately seeking a Part-Time Working Supervisor to oversee staff at a location in Harrisburg, PA (Dauphin County-Susquehanna Township). The Supervisor not only supervises non-supervisory employees but also engages in direct labor. The Supervisor shall be the first point of contact for any problem associated with the safety of the site. Shift is Monday through Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at $18.00/hour.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (per contract but not limited to)Responsible for ensuring contract compliance and monitoring services at the siteMaintains positive relationship with facility leadership and occupantsMust complete walk through of each building, with notations, weeklyMust complete timecards and submit timesheets, per scheduleResponsible for reporting site deficiencies and maintenance needsAssure site shift coverage, employee orientation and trainingConflict resolution; address disciplinary concernsPerform an unannounced QA site inspection each month on different buildingsAddress issues of the inspection form with employees for immediate action on cleaning concernsOrder/light delivery of the necessary consumable supplies on a monthly basisOversee and assist in all daily cleaning, floor buffing, and refinish schedulesAssist in creation and maintaining all site checklistsConducts interviews and new hire paperwork for any employeeAssure sufficient supplies are on site location as neededMaintain agency equipment maintenance and cleanlinessBasic QualificationsHigh School Graduate/GEDSupervisory Experience (preferred)Some computer/technical skillsLanguage And Communication SkillsAbility to communicate to promote team effort and public assuranceAbility to complete required reporting and trainingSupport the agency cause in action and communicationAdditional RequirementsRequired to work a 20-25 hour week divided into no less than five days, predominately eveningsMust be available to cover the day porter position for any call-off, scheduled time off, training, large event coverageMust be available for emergency activation coverageWorkweek will include some holidaysRequired to be available by phone 24/7Will be equipped with an agency cell phone and laptopMust have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving recordMust be willing to travel and attend training as scheduledMust have ability to liftComply with agency policyMust undergo State Criminal background checks, have a valid photo ID, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma/GED.
