In this role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling and enhancing the capabilities of Patreon's payment platform, ensuring creators are paid accurately and on time. You will contribute to designing and developing robust payment processing systems that support our global creator base. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build innovative features that deliver a seamless user experience. You will utilize modern frontend technologies such as React, Typescript, and Next.js, alongside backend technologies including Java, Python, Flask, Spring Boot, MySQL, and AWS. Your expertise will help uphold best practices in system design, performance optimization, observability, and testing, ensuring high reliability and throughput.
