The ones who want something different on the table, something with enough bite and backbone to break the night open. So we took the classic flavor of peanut butter and pushed it off the expected path, letting authentic Mexican tequila sharpen it into something bold, clean, and completely off-script. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Sales Lead to own and drive Maniball’s growth across Texas, with aprimary focus on Austin. This is not a maintenance role—this is a build-the-market role. You’ll be responsible for opening key accounts, developing distributor relationships, and creating repeatable sales systems that scale.  If you’ve worked inside a spirits brand and know how to move cases, this is your lane. WHAT YOU’LL DO MARKET DEVELOPMENT Lead sales expansion across Austin marketIdentify and close high-impact on-premise and off-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, liquor stores) Build a strong local presence through consistent market visits and relationship building Distributor Management Partner closely with distributors (e.g., Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and other regional partners) Drive distributor engagement, incentives, and accountability Ensure Maniball is prioritized within distributor portfolios ACCOUNT OWNERSHIP Own account onboarding, menu placements, and staff education Develop and execute promotions, tastings, and activations Maintain strong relationships with buyers, bartenders, and decision-makers Sales Strategy & Reporting Track KPIs including depletions, placements, and velocity Identify growth opportunities and gaps within each market Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership BRAND BUILDING Act as the face of Maniball in Texas Support events, brand activations, and key partnerships Ensure brand consistency and premium positioning across all touchpoints WHO YOU ARE 3+ years of experience working at a spirits brand (required) Experience in tequila is a strong plus Proven track record of opening accounts and driving sales growth Strong relationships within Austin hospitality scenes Deep understanding of the three-tier distribution systemAbility to lift and move product (up to 50lbs)Daily access to vehicle to facilitate regular market visitsAbility to travelHighly self-motivated—you don’t wait for direction, you create momentum Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Strong account base established in Austin within the first 90–120 days Consistent monthly growth in depletions and placements High distributor engagement and visibility in-market Maniball becomes a recognized and requested brand in key accounts
