Title: Windows AdministratorLocation: Clifton Forge, VARemoteDuration: 12 monthsInterview: Webcam OnlyNOTE: Candidates must be willing to come to Clifton Forge, VA once every 45-60 days for staff meetingJob DescriptionThis position is a replacement role to be the subject matter expert (SME) for our Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environment.The role will be responsible for +150 Compute servers hosted in Azure, and 200 Windows Desktops.This is not a helpdesk role. Desktop support will be managing the desktops using Group Policy/Active Directory.In Depth Active Directory/Group Policy Knowledge/experience Is Required.Azure IaaS experience would be a plus. The selected candidate will also assist in the maintaining, tuning, and hardening of the Microsoft 365 E5 solution that is already deployed.The selected candidate will be added to an on-call rotation that will be one week a month.Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a high technical skill level. Position requires frequent interaction with employees, customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems. Work may include creation, installation, and modification of software, testing, and documentation on a variety of platforms. Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision.
