Construction Resources offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.\nThe Machine Operator is responsible for operating several types of machinery and equipment used in the fabrication and processing of wood-based materials. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure efficient production and high-quality finished products.\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nKey Performance Indicators:\nMachine Operation\nMaterial Handling and Preparation\nCutting and Shaping\nQuality Control\nInspection\nSafety and Compliance\nResponsibilities:\nSet up machines, adjust settings, and load/unload materials to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.\nMonitor machine outputs, production rates, and material usage to meet production targets and quality standards.\nUtilize machinery to cut, shape, and profile wood-based materials according to technical drawings, templates, or design specifications.\nEnsure precise alignment, layout, and symmetry of cuts to maximize material yield and minimize waste.\nInspect components for defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies in color, pattern, or finish while operating or unloading the machine.\nPerform dimensional checks, surface inspections, and quality tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.\nMake adjustments to meet quality standards and customer expectations.\nAdhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.\nWear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and use safety guards and devices on machinery and equipment.\nPerform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity including housekeeping of machine and surrounding areas.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nCNC Saw experience required\nProven experience as a CNC machine operator with knowledge of cabinet component fabrication processes, machinery, and tools.\nKnowledge of material types, characteristics, and fabrication techniques, including cutting, shaping, and finishing.\nAttention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship in working with wood-based materials.\nPhysical stamina and dexterity to lift, maneuver, and work with heavy sheet goods.\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nVocational training or certification CNC machine operation.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.\nUnderstanding of equipment operation manuals, technical specifications, and safety procedures.\n\nBENEFITS\nMedical\nDental\nVision\nEmployer Paid Basic Employee Life and AD&D Insurance\nEmployer Paid Long Term Disability\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nVoluntary Short-Term Disability\nVoluntary Life and AD&D Insurance\nVoluntary Accident Insurance\nVoluntary Critical Illness Insurance\n\nEEO\nAt Construction Resources, our people are the driving force behind everything we do.
