You are a self starter who likes to initiative, and will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences in Web2 and Web3. Our team is small and everyone makes an outsized impact in the company.\nOur staff is currently spread between North America and Asia. This position is remote and meetings are regularly scheduled in the US time zones. Some flexibility in meeting hours will be required. Travel is also required a few times a year for onboarding, in-person planning sessions, and client support when required.\nResponsibilities\nUser Interface Development: Design and implement user interfaces for B2B and consumer applications, ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user experience.\nCross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices to deliver a consistent user experience.\nUser Feedback Integration: Collaborate with the product & design team to incorporate user feedback and continuously iterate on the user interface for optimal user satisfaction.\nSystems Architecture: Improve the speed, reliability, and usability of our Legitimate platform while minimizing cost and complexity. Balance decentralization and on-chain transactions with conventional frontends and backends for optimal performance and scalability.\nWeb3 and Smart Contract Integration: Integrate smart contracts and blockchain functionality into the frontend and backend, providing both our business users and their customers with seamless on-chain transactions while abstracting the complexity of blockchain\nQualifications\nExperience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in full stack software development, with at least 1-2 year of experience in web3.\nTechnical Proficiency: Mastery in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with the React framework and related tooling. Experience with Node.js, Express, Ruby on Rails, and other backend frameworks is a plus.\nUI/UX: Understanding of user interface design principles and a strong eye for detail.\nAdaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and quickly learn and apply new technologies.\nCollaboration: Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working in a cross-functional team with tight deadlines.\nBlockchain Interest: Curiosity around or familiarity with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps).\nNice to Have\nDecentralized Identity: Implement decentralized identity solutions to enhance user privacy and security.\nWeb3 Security: Implement best practices for secure frontend and backend development in the context of decentralized applications.\nWeb3 Tools: Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., viem, ethers.js, Wagmi) and familiarity with blockchain wallet integrations such as WalletConnect.\nTech Stack\nOur frontend applications use a mix of React and Next.js\nOur backend applications are built on a mix of Ruby on Rails and Node.js\nOur web3 usage consists of Solidity contracts running on EVM compatible chains such as Avalanche, Polygon, and Ethereum.\nOur NFC tag programming apps are built with Electron for Mac and Windows, and React Native for iOS and Android.\nBenefits: \n\nMedical and dental coverage for US employees\n401k with matching for US employees\nFlexible PTO\nWe cannot sponsor H1B or any work visas for the United States.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
