In support of multiple new product introductions, you’ll participate in requirements planning, architecture development, circuit design, design verification, and industrialization activities.\nStrategic:\nWork with senior technical staff in developing system architectures for the future PTZ platforms.\nIdentify areas for improvement within the EE team and suggest actionable CIP initiatives.\nEnsure designs adhere to global regulatory and compliance standards and guidelines.\nOperational:\nContribute to product requirement development, system design, system implementation, and validation activities.\nSupport lifecycle management efforts including component EOL, cost down, and field complaint investigations.\nParticipate in cross-functional design reviews and perform risk assessments (FMEA, focus area matrices, etc...).\nOwn assigned electrical subsystem designs through development, verification, release, validation, and implementation.\nPerform electrical tolerance analysis and component derating techniques to ensure a robust, high-quality design.\nSupport the manufacturing plant in devising optimized production tests to ensure robust product performance.\nPeople:\nMentor junior engineers to support team growth and skill development.\nCommunicate ideas, technical decision making, and risks clearly and concisely to all colleagues.\nWho You Are:\nSuccess in this role requires a self-starting, problem solver with a systems-minded approach and a rigorous attention to detail. You are calm under pressure, you possess the ability to bring a well-reasoned approach to resolve topics, and you can distill and concisely communicate technical topics to the team. You enjoy the challenge of design and collaborating across disciplines to produce high-quality designs in a fast-moving product environment.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.\n5+ years' experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex, embedded electrical systems.\nFamiliarity with the following core concepts:\nSchematic and layout design\nAnalog & digital circuit design and simulation\nDC power supply circuit design and simulation\nEMC design practices and debugging\nStandard communication buses: SPI, I2C, I2S, UART, CAN, USB, etc.\nMicroprocessor-based embedded system design\nExperience with basic lab equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, data loggers, logic analyzers, etc.\nExperience with cross-functional, peer design reviews of electrical systems.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical topics for decision-making and risk analysis.\nProficiency with Microsoft office tool suite.\nPreferred:\nMaster’s Degree in Electrical Engineering\n2+ years’ experience design, testing, and validating high-speed PCB designs.\nQuality Certification: ASQ DFSS Greenbelt or similar.\nKnowledge of the following advanced topics:\nPower & Signal Integrity design, simulation, and measurement\nImage based signaling protocols such as MIPI CSI-2, LVDS, HDMI\nMotors and motor control (BLDC, Stepper)\nExperience with:\nProduct and component life cycle management processes\nAgile methods for work breakdown & task management in hardware design\nIntegrating AI tools into engineering tasks\nEngineering requirements development\nCommon coding languages such as Python/C++ for test development & Linux OS\nGlobal compliance frameworks [Safety, Environmental, EMC]\n8D & fishbone diagrams for problem solving\nThis role is hybrid with 3 days in-office per week. Candidates must live in a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA site. Travel Expectation, 10% (Domestic and International).
